Hounds announce training camp, exhibition schedule

TRAINING CAMP / EXHIBITION GAMES

Soo Greyhounds Training Camp 2006 is set to take place Thursday, August 31st through Sunday, September 3rd at the John Rhodes Rink #2.

Thursday will have all returning players and Hounds hopefuls take part in registration, off-ice training and players meetings. On-Ice activities begin on Friday, September 1st. Practices will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Scrimmages will take place on both Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The Annual Red and White game is set for Sunday, September 3rd at 6 p.m at the John Rhodes Rink #2.

The locals will play host to a pair of exhibition contests as well. The first game will take place on Sunday, September 10th versus the Saginaw Spirit Game time is 6 p.m. at the John Rhodes Rink #2. The second game will take place on Sunday, September 17th versus the Sudbury Wolves. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Taffy Abel Arena (LSSU Norris Center) in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

RED & WHITE / EXHIBITION TICKET PURCHASES

Tickets for the Red & White game along with both exhibition games have been set as General Admission. Ticket purchases and/or pick-ups can be made at the City Box Office located in the John Rhodes Community Centre – Pool Lobby.

Season ticket holders DO NOT have tickets to any of these games included in their season ticket package and are asked to note the special instructions for each game below.

Tickets for the Red and White game are $5.00 and current season ticket holders can purchase these from Monday, August 28th until Thursday, August 31st. Any remaining tickets will be on sale to the general public on Friday, September 1st.

Tickets for the Exhibition game on September 10th are $8.00 for Adults and $5 for Seniors, Students and Children. Current season ticket holders can purchase these from Tuesday, September 5th until Thursday, September 7th. Any remaining tickets will be on sale to the general public on Friday, September 8th.

Please note that space is extremely limited for the above-mentioned games so fans are encouraged to act fast!

For the Exhibition game on Sunday, September 17th at the LSSU Norris Center current season ticket holders WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PICK UP ONE FREE TICKET FOR EACH SEAT THEY HAVE starting on Monday, September 11th until Thursday, September 14th at the John Rhodes Box Office (Pool Lobby).

** ALL SEASON TICKET HOLDERS FREE TICKETS MUST BE PICKED UP IN ADVANCE AS NONE WILL BE ISSUED ON THE DAY OF THE GAME **

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 15th. Prices will be $8.00 for Adults and $5 for Seniors, Students and Children.

Any remaining tickets will be available on the day of the game at the LSSU Norris Centre Box Office. Game day prices are $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors and Students and $5 for Children.

** Notes ** - Valid ID must be present when purchasing or picking up any Red & White and/or exhibition game tickets by Season Ticket Holders

- Tickets for all games are first-come, first-serve based on availability and all season ticket holders may purchase/receive as many tickets as they have seats

- No phone orders will be accepted. City Box Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
