The U-12 boys squad follow suit with other Sault Civic teams with a successful weekend, at Strathclair Fields, winning the Lake Superior Cup.

The team came out in dramatic fashion winning their first game convincingly, on Saturday, over New Liskeard by a score of 12–0.

In game two, the Civics played a strong game against the Sudbury Italia Flyers but fell short by a score of 2–1.

The Sault squad entered its third game of the day needing a win and came through with a 1-0 victory over the Elk Rapid Elks.

Once again, in Sunday's action, the Highland Ford Ltd. U-12 boys entered the day needing a victory. With only ten minutes from elimination the Sault team rallied with great team effort sealing a victory, over Sudbury Pan-Hellenic, when Alex Fera bulged the twine at the 50 minute mark.

This moved the Civics into the finals at 3:00 where they would have the opportunity to avenge their loss to the Sudbury Italia Flyers.

With the previous day's loss fresh in their minds, the Highland Ford Civics put to rest any doubts over their fate against the Sudbury team with a dominating 9–1 score.

Congratulations to Neil Ovey, the coaching staff, and the boys for a successful weekend.
