High school football midweek report

The stretch drive in the High School Football League begins tonight as teams are fighting for both playoff spots and playoff position.

In the senior division, this week's marquee matchup features a battle for first place between two unbeaten teams in the St. Mary's Knights and Sir James Dunn Eagles. The 3-0 teams will meet on Saturday at 1 p.m. as a part of St. Mary's 50th anniversary celebrations.

Bawating (2-1) can secure a playoff spot tonight at 7 p.m. at Rocky DiPietro Field with a win against the White Pines Wolverines (1-2). On Friday at 7 p.m., the Korah Colts (0-3) will meet the St. Basil Saints (0-3) with a win keeping each team's playoff hopes alive.
