The St. Mary's Knights captured the High School Basketball League senior division regular season championship with a victory over the Korah Colts on Thursday.

At Korah, Stephanie Colizza scored 12 points and Brittany Denneny added 11 as the Knights defeated the Colts 44-32. Kathleen Thorburn added nine points for the winners while Sara Levesque replied with 13 points for Korah and Christina Medaglia eight.

In junior, Melissa Thibeault scored 13 points and Katie Babcock added 12 as St. Mary's edged Korah 48-43. Jessica Bauer topped the Colts with 13 points while Kayla Odorizzi scored 12.

At Bawating, the St. Basil Saints swept the Braves with a 55-11 win in junior followed by a 48-22 decision in senior.

Kristy Aloe paced the Saints with 13 points while Adrianna Bruni added eight in the senior division victory while the Braves were led by Lindsey Everitt, Amanda Witmell and Sarah Crispell with six points each. In junior, Corinna Bruni poured in 16 points for St. Basil and Angela Bruni added 13.

At White Pines, the Mount St. Joseph College Royals used eight points from each of Jenna Buck, Alex King and Vanessa Chaimbrone in a 34-29 win over the Wolverines. Eva Boissoneau and Bridgit Hindermeier scored nine points each for White Pines.

*** TUESDAY'S RESULTS:

At St. Basil, Abby DiDonato and Lara Stilin scored eight points each to lead the Saints past the Sir James Dunn Eagles 37-26 in senior. Steph Davies drained a game high 11 points for the Eagles.

In junior, the Saints edged the Eagles 41-36 on the strength of 15 points from Lauren Wozny and 13 from Lacey Caputo. Angela Bruni added nine points for the winners while Ali Wytsma topped the Eagles with 14 points and Meghan DiAngelo added 10.

At St. Mary's, Thorburn scored 24 points and Kira Favaro 16 to lead the senior Knights to a 67-43 win over the Wolverines. Hindermeier and Miriam Pinder scored 10 points each for White Pines.

Babcock's 12 points and 10 more Maegan Delfre led the Knights to a 60-13 win in junior.

At the Mount, the Royals defeated the Braves 37-28 as Deanna Buonomo scored 14 points and King eight for the winners. Everitt and Whitmell paced the Braves with 11 points each.
