************************* Referees Online – Sault Hockey Officials Association launches website

Sault Ste. Marie, ON, January 15, 2007: The Sault Hockey Officials Association (SHOA) is proud to announce the official launch and release of its new website. As the association continues to broaden its administrative capabilities, the website launch marks the first step towards a more efficient and technologically capable organization.

The website includes information regarding the history of the association, its members, and events — events such as the recent Child Find Ontario fundraiser.

The site also has a message board/forum intended to provoke discussion and questions with answers from qualified officials with consultation of the Hockey Canada rulebook/casebook.

Featured also is the Official of the Month award, an award bestowed upon one official who during the designated month displays extraordinary commitment, dedication, and love of the game.
