Soo Greyhounds forward Boris Katchouk was honoured by the Ontario Hockey League on Monday as its latest player of the week.

The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect scored four goals and six points as the Greyhounds picked up three consecutive wins on the road last week.

Katchouk opened the week on Thursday night with two goals and an assist as the Greyhounds picked up a 6-1 win in North Bay over the Battalion before picking up a goal in the Greyhounds 5-3 win in Mississauga over the Steelheads 24 hours later. He then finished the week with a goal and an assist in an 8-3 win on Sunday afternoon against the Oshawa Generals.

Katchouk has points in seven straight games heading into a crucial West Division game against the Windsor Spitfires on Wednesday night at the Essar Centre.

Katchouk is the second member of the Greyhounds to earn the player of the week honour after goaltender Joseph Raaymakers was named the OHL’s top player for the week ending on Oct. 2.
