Greyhounds begin homestand with new faces (14 photos)

The Soo Greyhounds begin a three-game homestand tonight at Memorial Gardens against the Saginaw Spirit with a new look to their lineup.

Game time is 7 p.m.

Dustin Jeffrey (pictured), who was acquired from the Mississauga Ice Dogs in a trade on Monday for Chris Lawrence and Josh Day, will make his debut tonight in a Hounds uniform. The Hounds also received a third round draft pick in the deal.

Meanwhile, defenseman Michael Quesnele, a local fifth round draft pick, has been called up by the Hounds from the Soo Thunderbirds and will serve as the team’s seventh defenseman.

The homestand continues on Friday as the Peterborough Petes visit for a 7:30 p.m. start while the Kitchener Rangers roll into town for a 7 p.m. start on Sunday.
