GALLERY: Try a Sport Day wasn't just limited to humans

Dog agility, spikeball, and ultimate frisbee were among the activities that Saultites gave a try around town on Friday and Saturday

Over the last two days, residents of all ages had the opportunity to learn some new skills during the city's free "Try a Sport Day."

Whether it was traditional sports like lacrosse and pickleball, or hand-eye events like ultimate frisbee and spikeball, there was guaranteed to be something for everyone.

Even proud dog moms and dads got their pups in the action at Anna McCrea this morning for training and agility exercises in collaboration with the Sault Ste. Marie Kennel Club.

Other sports and activities on Friday and Saturday included disc golf, bean bag and washer toss, beginner yoga, and a spin class at the YMCA.

To celebrate the two-day healthy living extravaganza, Sault College's Waterfront Adventure Centre will be offering half-priced admission until 9 p.m. this evening.
