The Sault Firestorm will be competing in the 2006 Ontario Summer Games during the second week of August.

The Ontario Summer Games provide sports competition for youth between the ages of 11 and 22. The 2006 Summer Games will involve approximately 3,000 athletes and coaches from across the province.

The soccer competition for the 2006 Ontario Summer Games will encompass 350 participants, including 260 athletes, 60 coaches, and 30 officials.

The Sault Firestorm will be entering into the round robin after getting through the tournament round to qualify for the summer games.

On Thursday, August 10th they will compete against London and Mississauga and on Friday, August 11th against Brampton.

The semi finals and final medal rounds will be held on Saturday August 12th.

The games opening ceremonies will be held on Wednesday August 9th and will be televised by the Rogers Network.

The Sault Firestorm's next action will be at Tom Tipton Field this Sunday against Kitchener at 10:00 AM.
