Adam MacIvor scored back-to-back goals early in the second period to lift the Eskimos into a 3-0 lead and pave the way for the 6-2 win in Iroquois Falls.

The loss put an end to a four-game winning streak for the Thunderbirds and drops the team's record to 10-7-1-1.

The Thunderbirds dressed only 14 skaters for the game and were decimated ever further when defensemen Kyle Jones was ejected for slashing in the second period and Tyler Lannigan was tossed in the third period.

The Thunderbirds end their three-game road trip on Sunday against the North Bay Skyhawks at 2 p.m.

The club returns home to face the Northern Michigan Black Bears on Wednesday night at the John Rhodes Community Centre beginning at 7:30 p.m.
