Sault Ste. Marie, November 6, 2006 - Frank D'Angelo, CEO of Steelback Breweries and D'Angelo Brands has announced that he's bringing a team of former NHL greats along with some local players for a charity game against a team of Soo Greyhounds' Alumni on December 8, 2006 in support of the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.

"We'll be playing for the Steelback Charity Cup," said Frank D'Angelo. "If we get a great turnout we'll do it again next year with a whole new crop of hockey greats. It's going to be a fun and exciting game for the whole family and it's all for the hospital."

Just a few of the many players fans will be able to watch and meet include Gary Leeman, Ric Nattress, Jim Thomson, Bill Derlago, Eddy Shack, and Dennis Hull.

As well, there will also be a celebrity players' autograph session before the game on the Steelback Centre Concourse and prizes including autographed Team Canada Jerseys!

Ticket prices for the event are $15 for adults, $10 for ages 5-12 and free for children ages 4 and under.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation for their ongoing fundraising efforts.

Tickets will be available beginning Wednesday November 15 at a variety of locations including the Steelback Centre, the Station Mall Box office, and local businesses around Sault Ste. Marie.

Plus, the first 500 children entering the game will receive a free Steelback Centre hat.

And adults attending the game will receive a commemorative t-shirt upon presenting their game ticket at Casino SSM following the game prior to enjoying Frank D'Angelo and the Steelback 2-4 Band play live at the casino.

The always entertaining Frank D'Angelo is also quoted as saying that the former Soo Greyhound Stars "Don't stand a chance" against his team of former NHL, OHL, and college players. "How could they?" boasted D'Angelo. "I'm in net for the NHL squad."

So please come out and support them, they're going to need all the help they can get.
