The Sir James Dunn Eagles senior girls volleyball team saw their run at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSSA) AAA playdowns come to an end in the consolation final.

After finishing the round robin with a 2-2 record and third place in their pool, the Eagles were placed in the consolation playoff bracket.

In their final game, the Eagles dropped a three-set decision to Windsor's F.J. Brennan 25-27, 25-15, 11-15 for the consolation title.

The Eagles opened the playoffs with 25-23, 25-19 win over Oshawa's R.S. McLaughlin before quickly disposing of Niagara Fall's A.N. Myer 25-13, 25-18 in the semi-finals.

After opening with a 1-2 record on day one, the Eagles defeated Maple 25-16, 25-15 to close the round robin on Wednesday morning.
