Cougars soccer team enjoys first-ever tournament win

On Feb. 8, the Sault College Cougars men's indoor varsity soccer team attended the Georgian Grizzlies indoor soccer tournament.

The men's team won the tournament with a score of 1 to 0 in the championship game against St. Lawerance Cornwal. Daniel Roussain scored the only goal of the game and goalkeeper Michael Chilelli had the shut out. This is the first tournament win for the college in the six years of the indoor program at the college.

The woman's team also attended the tournament as well and lost out in the final 2 to 1 against the host Georgian Grizzlies.

Both teams had a great tourney and will be heading to London on March 4 for the regional qualifier.
