Colts remain unbeaten

Both of Korah's football teams sit atop the standings with 4-0 records

The Korah Colts remain unbeaten in senior high school football action through four weeks after a convincing win on Friday night.

The Colts scored early and cruised to a 49-12 win over White Pines Friday at Superior Heights to improve to 4-0.

The Colts entered the game on the heels of an emotional win over Superior Heights one week ago.

Korah quarterback Jordan Robinson-Wright opened the scoring with a 60-yard touchdown run just under four minutes into the contest and also threw for a pair of touchdowns, which included a 59-yard pass to Alex Segin in the opening quarter and a four-yard pass to Segin in the second quarter.

Korah tacked on two more touchdowns in the second quarter as Caleb Patteri ran the ball in from 62 yards out while Zack Politano ran the ball in from seven yards out.

Politano also had a four-yard touchdown run in the third quarter while Austin Nori added a fourth-quarter touchdown on a one-yard run.

Patteri finished the day with 72 yards rushing on 3 carries while Zac Zeppa had 73 yards rushing on nine carries.

Meanwhile, in Friday’s junior game, Korah picked up a 42-0 victory over White Pines. Similarly to their senior counterparts, the junior Colts also hold a perfect 4-0 record.

White Pines returns to action on Oct. 5 against Superior Heights while Korah is in action the following day against St. Mary’s. For the Colts, the matchup against the Knights will see the school celebrate it’s 50th reunion game All games are scheduled for Superior Heights with the junior games set to begin at 4:45 p.m. and the senior games to follow at 7:30 p.m.
