NORTHERN ONTARIO HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

************************* Level 1 hockey trainer clinic

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association will conduct a Level 1 hockey trainer clinic in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007.

The clinic will be held in the upstairs classroom at the Queen Elizabeth Pool/John Rhodes Complex.

Starting time is 6:30 p.m. and the clinic will run for approximately four hours.

The cost of the clinic is $55 payable at the door.

The Level 1 clinic will cover the trainer’s role and responsibilities, risk management and certification, as well as emergency injury management techniques.

This clinic is mandatory for all registered hockey trainers, but is also open to all interested coaches, staff, parents ad players.

Advance registration is required.

Those who do not pre-register will not be permitted to participate in the clinic.

This will be the final Level 1 trainer clinic held this season.
