CASS volleyball and alumni hockey

The Central Algoma Secondary School girls volleyball teams travelled to Espanola for their second league tournament.

The senior girls improved their season record to 7-0 by defeating Jeunesse Nord 25-19, 25-16, Espanola 25-15, 25-13, Manitoulin 25-14, 25-16 and Jeunesse Nord again 18-25, 25-16, 15-6.

The junior girls improved their record to 6 wins and 2 losses by defeating Jeunesse Nord 2 games to 0, Espanola 2-0, Manitoulin 2-0 and Franco Ouest 2-0 before losing to Jeunesse Nord 1 game to 2.

Alumni Hockey Results

In the 10th annual Alumni Game, CASS defeated the alumni 12-8. Scoring for CASS were Mike Bizier (3), Kyle McColeman (2), Thomas Ross(2), Lucas Gjos (2), Josh King, Nick King and Cole Julien.

For the Alumni, the goal scorers were Kyle Brick (2), Mike Brown, Craig MacDonald, Lindsay Tallon, Jason Martineau(2)and Brennan North . Twenty three alumni returned to play in this CASS tradition.
