CASS takes two of three from Espanola

The Central Algoma Secondary School boys basketball teams hosted Espanola in their first home games of the season. The CASS seniors extended their unbeaten streak to 4 league games with a 53-26 win.

The Central Algoma Secondary School boys basketball teams hosted Espanola in their first home games of the season.

The CASS seniors extended their unbeaten streak to 4 league games with a 53-26 win. Jay Ripplinger had 16 points while Rob Hurley had 14 for the Huskies. Eric Duhame had 11 points for the Spartans.

The CASS juniors defeated Espanola 60-49. CASS led 25-24 at the half. Ethan Campbell had 27 points while Seth Whitley had 15 for the Huskies, who are now 3-1 on the season. Randy Thibeauet had 15 points for Espanola.

The Espanola midget boys defeated CASS 39-34 in overtime. CASS was outscored 5-0 in the overtime. Logan Jones had 11 points while Rob Gallinger had 9 for the Huskies. Brad Nielson had 20 points for the Spartans.
