The senior boys volleyball team improved to 6 wins and 2 losses on the season by defeating Elliot Lake 25 -11, 25- 18, W.C. Eaket 25 -11, 25 -22 and Espanola 25 -15, 25 -9. The Seniors now travel to Manitoulin Nov. 8 for the NSSSA Championships.

The senior boys volleyball team improved to 6 wins and 2 losses on the season by defeating Elliot Lake 25 -11, 25- 18, W.C. Eaket 25 -11, 25 -22 and Espanola 25 -15, 25 -9.

The Seniors now travel to Manitoulin Nov. 8 for the NSSSA Championships.

The junior boys captured the league title on Wednesday finishing the season with a perfect 10 wins and 0 losses record.

In league play, CASS defeated Elliot Lake 25 -20, 25 -22, Espanola 25 -16, 25 -23 and W.C. Eaket 25 - 9, 25 -16.

CASS will now host the NSSSA Championships Nov. 9.

The Central Algoma Secondary School girls basketball teams travelled to Espanola on Tuesday to play the Spartans.

The senior girls improved to 5 wins and 0 losses with a 53-25 win over the Spartans. Amanda Hollingsworth with 18 points and Marsena Henderson with 10 lead the Huskies while Nicole McGregor had 11 for Espanola.

The junior team improved to 4 wins and 1 loss with a 36-22 win over Espanola. Deanna Hagan with 14 points and Hayley Oikari with 10 led the Huskies while Rebecca Bond had 6 for the Spartans.
