CASS seniors fall for the first time

The Central Algoma Secondary School boys basketball teams hosted Elliot on Tuesday. The senior boys lost their first game of season 34-30. The score was tied 18-18 at the half. Jay Ripplinger with 12 points and Corey Myers with 7 led the Huskies.

The Central Algoma Secondary School boys basketball teams hosted Elliot on Tuesday.

The senior boys lost their first game of season 34-30. The score was tied 18-18 at the half. Jay Ripplinger with 12 points and Corey Myers with 7 led the Huskies. Brian Killen had 14 points for Elliot Lake.

The junior boys improved to 6-1, defeating Elliot Lake 51-48 in overtime. CASS lead 18-17 at the half. Ethan Campbell with 15 points and Colton King with 9 led CASS while Andrew Diemer scored 18 for the Atoms.

The midget boys recorded their second win in a row with a 37-29 win over Elliot Lake. CASS led 20-13 at the half. Logan Jones had 25 points for CASS to lead all scorers. Kris Isenor had 7 points for the Atoms.
