CASS gets two wins in Manitoulin

The Central Algoma Secondary School Huskies boys basketball teams travelled to Manitoulin Island for three games. The senior boys improved to 2-0 on the season with a 80-27 drubbing of the Mustangs.

The Central Algoma Secondary School Huskies boys basketball teams travelled to Manitoulin Island for three games.

The senior boys improved to 2-0 on the season with a 80-27 drubbing of the Mustangs. Jayson Ripplinger and Corey Myers had 15 points each for the Huskies while Paul Demers had 8 for Manitoulin.

The junior boys defeated Manitoulin 63-8. CASS lead 35-2 at the half. Ethan Campbell had 20 points, Seth Whitley 11 and Colton King 10 to improve CASS' record to 2-0.

The midget boys lost their first game of the season 64-34. Rob Gallinger had 12 points for the Huskies.

CASS will be hosting the 30th annual Husky Invitational Dec. 8 & 9 with junior and senior teams from W.C. Eaket, Sir James Dunn and Bawating. Call 782-0539 for game times.
