LUCKY STRIKE LANES

********************* Lucky Strike Lanes, America's first 'bowling lounge,' now open at Palisades Center!

Lucky Strike Lanes features 12 bowling lanes complete with 42-inch plasma monitors and custom leather sofas, an intimate 40-foot bar, billiards and game room, tasty food and 100-seat dining room

WEST NYACK, New York - The much-anticipated opening of Lucky Strike Lanes at the Palisades Center brings a new level of entertainment and dining experience to the New York metropolitan area.

Lucky Strike Lanes opened on New Year's Eve 2006, with a resolution to energize 23,000 square feet of space on the fourth level of the Palisades Center.

This hip hangout is not your typical bowling alley.

Lucky Strike Lanes offers quality food, dramatic ambience, a hot bar, an upscale game room, a private lounge, and a sophisticated audio/visual system programmed with art, videos, media, and sports.

It is the company's 14th location after successful debuts in most of the nation's major cities including Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Miami, Washington, D.C., Hollywood, and Philadelphia.

"Lucky Strike is America's first true bowling lounge and will be the region's hottest new venue, ideal for special events appealing to families, businesses, groups of friends or singles," said Peter Janoff, the general manager of the Palisades Center.

According to Robert Putnam's 2000 national bestseller, Bowling Alone, "Bowling is the most popular competitive sport in America."

"Bowlers outnumber joggers, golfers, or softball players more than two to one," Putnam states.

With more than 65 million or close to one-quarter of all Americans bowling every year as noted by C&R Research, bowling continues to grow as a favorite American pastime.

Lucky Strike Lanes is the brainchild of the husband and wife team of Steven and Gillian Foster.

The couple has been in the business of developing striking entertainment venues for more than 25 years, many of which incorporate modern twists on vintage pastimes.

Ernst & Young honored Foster with the prestigious 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Lucky Strike Lanes concept.

"In the 20s and 30s, bowling alleys were the sophisticated social centers of their time, a place to interact, relax, and have a really good time," said Steven Foster.

"Created on the same premise, Lucky Strike Lanes embodies a warm, interactive and inviting atmosphere combining vintage 1940s touches with modern décor that makes one feel like they are relaxing in someone’s home," Foster said.

With a capacity for nearly 700 patrons, Lucky Strike's newest location features:

- a dozen state-of-the-art lanes with automatic scoring and the latest in ball return technology

- custom lounge seating replacing the traditional molded plastic chairs

- a private lounge with lanes and bar for special events - a 100-foot by 10-foot video wall featuring cutting-edge images of artwork from today's hottest emerging artists of all genres, as well as music videos, film clips, and customized images for special events

- a menu featuring 108 selections designed by Bill Starbuck, the acclaimed Chef from Along Came Mary, the premier gourmet caterer in Los Angeles

- six custom pool tables and two high tech air hockey games - eight lanes of mini bowling, and the country's first "Killer Spin" lounge featuring four state of the art ping-pong tables For more information, please click here.
