You won't want to leave yourself scrambling at the last minute to be part of a popular golf tournament that raises funds for the local United Way.

The Water Tower Inn Big Cup Scramble is back on June 10 for its seventh year of fun, fundraising and togetherness for golfers of all skill levels.

But organizers say you should hurry as registration closes soon.

This year, golfers will have the chance to win a cash prize as well a brand-new pickup truck.

"Every year, this tournament unites our community in fun and philanthropy, making a meaningful impact on the lives of kids, families, and seniors in need," said Rayna Evoy, fundraising manager for United Way Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District.

Don't miss your chance to be part of the highly anticipated Water Tower Inn Big Cup Scramble in support of United Way Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District on Monday, June 10 at the Sault Golf Club.

This popular golf tournament blends fun and camaraderie for participants of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. Enjoy creative challenges, live entertainment, and refreshments throughout the course.

In 2023, the United Way faced financial hardships and struggled to maintain its core programs. Thanks to the support of the community and Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre’s RAIN division, the United Way was able to reset and refocus on the vital community services and programs it supports.

This year’s tournament proceeds will help fund United Way Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District’s essential programs, tackling unignorable issues such as hunger, domestic violence, poverty, social isolation, addictions, homelessness, mental health, and unemployment.

"We're thrilled to bring back The Water Tower Inn Big Cup Scramble for another year," said Rayna Evoy, fundraising manager for United Way Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District.

"Every year, this tournament unites our community in fun and philanthropy, making a meaningful impact on the lives of kids, families, and seniors in need."
