The Elliot Lake Bobcats moved into 2nd place in the Greater Metro Junior Hockey League.

On Friday night, the Bobcats hammered the last place Duoro Dukes 14-0 and on Saturday night they also beat the Dukes by the score of 11-2. On Sunday afternoon, in Espanola the Bobcats played a tough game and beat the Espanola Kings 5-4.

Sault product Thomas Stewart had an outstanding weekend picking up 10 points in the 3 games.

The Bobcats record is now 17-6-3.

Next action for the Bobcats is Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Elliot Lake against the Nipissing Alouettes.
