The Elliot Lake Bobcats defeated the Nippissing Alouettes 9-2 on Friday night in front of a packed house at Centennial Arena in Elliot Lake.

The win puts the Bobcats into 3rd place out of 13 teams in the Greater Metro Junior Hockey League and are just 1 point out of 2nd place.

Next game for the Bobcats is Friday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Elliot Lake against the Desoronto Storm.
