Black Sox win their OBA opener.

The Soo Junior Black Sox defeated Clarington 5-0 on the opening day of the Junior 'B' Ontario Championships being held at Sinclair Yards in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Soo Junior Black Sox defeated Clarington 5-0 on the opening day of the Junior 'B' Ontario Championships being held at Sinclair Yards in Sault Ste. Marie. Strong defence and a complete game 7 inning outing by pitcher Ben Myers while Rob Martel capped the offence with a 2 run double in the 5th.

The next game for the Sox is at Saturday August 16th at 9:00 AM. The weekend long tournament has 10 teams from across Ontario. All games are at Sinclair Yards on Black Road.
