A young man who formerly lived in Sault Ste. Marie will be taking his game to a Michigan university. The Detroit Free Press has reported that Ben Vanbiesbrouck has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids.

A young man who formerly lived in Sault Ste. Marie will be taking his game to a Michigan university.

The Detroit Free Press has reported that Ben Vanbiesbrouck has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids.

Ben developed some of his skills on Sault area links.

He also participated locally in various cross-country skiing competitions.

Ben is the son of onetime Greyhounds goalie - and later coach, general manager and part-owner - John Vanbiesbrouck.
