*** DON DOUCET MEMORIAL BASKETBALL CAMP: Registrations are being taken on a first-come, first-serve basis for the Don Doucet Memorial Basketball Camp to be held during the month of July.

There will be two separate camps -- for girls going into grades 7 and 8 and girls going into grades 9 and 10. The camp for grade 7-8 girls will be held July 4-7 and July 11-14 from 10 a.m. - noon each day at a cost of $40 per player. The camp for grade 9-10 girls will be held July 18-21 and July 25-28 from 10 a.m. - noon each day at a cost of $40 per player.

Beginning this year, the annual camp will be held in honour of fallen city police constable Don Doucet. Instructors will include graduated high school players Jocelyne Doucet -- who is Don's daughter -- and Cara Russon.
