Bantam OBA championships begin Friday at Sinclair Yards

The Soo 341 Elks Bantam Black Sox are preparing to host the Bantam A OBA Provincial Championships this weekend at Sinclair Yards.

The teams traveling to the Soo to compete for the Provincial Crown is, the Thunder Bay Mountain Jacks, Aurora Jays and the Waterloo Major Bantams. Along with our Soo Black Sox. The tournament starts Friday at 5Pm with the Soo going up against Thunder Bay. Followed by Aurora taking on Waterloo at 7:30PM.

The Soo plays two games on Saturday against Aurora at 12:30 and concluding the round robin play against Waterloo at 6:30PM. Semi Finals start at 10AM Sunday and the Championship match set to go at 1 PM. All games are at Sinclair Yards off Black Road.

The Sports Gold Mosquito Black Sox will be competing for the Mosquito A Championships in Aurora, over the labour day weekend as well. They start the tournament Friday versus Brantford in the double elimination tournament.

Also, the Mrs. B's Pee Wee Black Sox are gearing up for the Pee Wee A Championships to be held in Guelph this year. 10 teams qualified for the Championship series, and the Black Sox start there tournament Friday at 5 versus Milton.
