Bantam Hounds to battle Sudbury for league title

The Soo Bantam Greyhounds will now be in search of a Northern Ontario Bantam Hockey League championship after a semi-final sweep of the North Bay Athletics.

On Saturday in North Bay, the Greyhounds skated to an 8-3 win over the Athletics to claim the best-of-five series 3-0.

Kyle Jean and Anthony Colizza scored two goals each for the Hounds while singles went to Geoff Gieni, Tyler Liukkonen, Kevin Closs and Mike Rivard.

The Hounds will now play Sudbury Lockerby Confectionery, who swept the Onaping Falls Huskies 3-0 in their semi-final, in a best-of-five league championship series.
