ALGOMA U WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM ARE STILL UNDEFEATED

Algoma U's Thunderbirds Women's Basketball team is still undefeated after winning their second game of the OCAA regular season with a win over the Fanshawe College Falcons. The score was 58 to 46 in favour of Algoma U.

Top scorers for Algoma University College were Danielle D'Ettorre with a 29 points, Lara Stilin with 12 and Melissa Stumpo with 8.

The Algoma U Men's team dropped their 2nd game of the season with another very close game against Fanshawe College. Algoma U lost 74 to 69 to the Falcons. Top scorer's for Algoma U were Andrew Turgeon with 22 points, Patrick Murray with 14 and Jarrell Hogan with 12.

The Algoma University College Women's basketball team's next game is on Friday, November 3rd in their season home opener at 8 pm. Both the Algoma U Women's and Men's basketball team's play next Saturday, November 4th against Redeemer University College at noon and 2 pm at the George Leach Centre.

WIN & LOSS FOR ALGOMA U REGULAR SEASON OPENERS Algoma University College Thunderbirds Women's Basketball team defeated the Mohawk College Mountaineers with a score of 61 to 44 in their regular season opener.

Top scorers for Algoma University College were Danielle D'Ettorre with 41 points and Lara Stilen with 10 points.

The Algoma U Men's team dropped their season opener in a very close game of 98 to 94 against Mohawk College . Top scorer's for Algoma U were Patrick Murray, Andrew Turgeon and Peter Chapman all with 18 points each.
