Algoma U Thunderbirds Defeat Cambrian College The Algoma University College Thunderbird men's basketball team defeated the Cambrian College Golden Shield by a score of 102 to 56 at the George Leach Centre today in exhibition play.

Top scorers for Algoma were Pat Murray and Andy Haidar with 16 points each. Zach Wright had 14 points. The top scorers for Cambrian were Joey Pelletier and Mitch Mallette with 16 points each.

Next action for the Algoma U men's team is next weekend here at the George Leach Centre in the Algoma U Challenge Cup tournament.
