Thunderbird Tip Off Tournament This Weekend At Algoma U

The Algoma University College Men’s varsity basketball team will be returning to the hard court this weekend as the host of the annual Thunderbird Tip Off Tournament.

This exhibition tournament will help the Thunderbirds prepare for the upcoming OCAA season.

In addition to the varsity squads from Algoma University and Sault College, this six team tournament features traveling teams from Thunder Bay, Traverse City, and Sault Ste. Marie.

Action starts at the George Leach Centre, located on the campus of Algoma University College at 5:30 on Friday, October 6th. The tournament finals will be played at St. Basil Secondary School starting at 5:00 pm on Saturday.
