The Algoma University College Thunderbirds basketball teams are at home again this weekend as they take on the Fanshawe Falcons.

The Algoma University College Thunderbirds basketball teams are at home again this weekend as they take on the Fanshawe Falcons.

Games take place Friday evening at the GLC with our still unbeaten women’s team playing at 6:00 followed by the men at 8:00.

Both games are sure to be challenging as the most recent OCAA rankings have the Fanshawe women ranked second in the province while their men’s squad is ranked fifth.

Come out to the game and show your support for our players. Victory will help ensure Algoma U appears in next week’s provincial rankings.
