The Sault Major Hockey Association's Bantam BB Assante Capitals captured the Motown Invitational Tournament championship this past weekend in Detroit.
The Capitals went undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament defeating the Essex Ravens 6-2, the Louisville Stallions 4-1 and tying the Monroe County Ice Hawks with a 1-1 score.
The capitals sealed the tournament victory with a 7-1 score in the final game over the Essex Ravens.
