Another successful weekend for Bobcats

The Elliot Lake Bobcats had a very successful weekend in Greater Metro Junior Hockey League action.

On Friday night in front of a standing room only crowd at Centennial Arena in Elliot Lake, they dominated the Espanola Kings 7-1. This was a very physical affair with plenty of great hits and exciting fights.

On Saturday night in Toronto, the shorthanded Bobcats beat the Toronto Canada Moose 5-4.

The 2 wins leave the Bobcats in 3rd place with a 10-3-3 record, 2 points behind the 2nd place Bradford Rattlers and 4 points behind the 1st place Temiscaming Royals.

Next game is Friday night in Elliot Lake against the Richmond Hill Rams. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
