Andrea French, a junior from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, holds the lucky puck that won her a spring break trip for two to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Three randomly-chosen students were picked for a shooting contest during the Ferris State hockey series.

French (pictured) advanced to a final shootout at the conclusion of Saturday's game.

Her grand prize package is a one-night stay at the Howard Johnson in Romulus, a $50 gas card, air fare, and a three-night stay in Fort Lauderdale.

Contest sponsors included Today's Hits 99.5 Yes FM, Old Mission Bank, Bordertown Chiropractic, Law Offices of Charles Palmer, Tuxedo World, Searchmont Resort, and Superior Travel.
