Day 2 Results

Semi-Final #1 Seneca Sting 80 St. Lawrence Vikings 53

The Seneca Sting will move on to the OCAA Women’s Basketball Gold Medal game on Saturday with a 80-53 over St. Lawrence Vikings in the Semi-Final. Heather Elchuk led the attack for Seneca with 19 points while Carlene Siopis, Natasha Thombs, and Ashley Docking all added 12. Alison Callihoo was the high scorer for St. Lawrence with 17 points

Semi-Final #2 Algoma Thunderbirds 69 Algonquin Thunder 66

Algoma will join Seneca in the Gold Medal game as they defeated the host Algonquin Thunder in a thriller 69-66. All-Canadian Danielle D’Ettorre led the Thunderbird attack with 25 points followed by Lara Stilin with 18. Bojana Bejatovic had 20 points in the loss for Algonquin.
