The Algoma University College Thunderbirds came up empty on their last Ontario Colleges Athletic Association road trip of the season.

On the men's basketball side, the Thunderbirds fell 77-64 to Mohawk College on Friday night before falling 81-65 to Fanshawe on Saturday afternoon. Jarrell Hogan scored 16 points to lead Algoma against Fanshawe while Cory Glaister poured in 15. No scoring details were available for the other contest.

Algoma (1-12) wraps up their season on Wednesday night as they travel uptown to face the Sault College Cougars (9-4) at 9 p.m.

On the women's side, Algoma concluded their season with a 62-43 loss to Mohawk before dropping a 61-49 decision to Fanshawe. Jessica King dropped 21 points for the Thunderbirds against Mohawk before scoring 22 more to lead the team against Fanshawe.

The women finish the season with a 1-11 record.
