The Soo Greyhounds have now strung together a pair of impressive victories at the Steelback Centre.

Following up Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Sarnia Sting, the Greyhounds outplayed the Windsor Spitfires to a 6-4 Ontario Hockey League win on Friday night.

The Greyhounds continued to play an in-your-face style of game, quickly threw the body at the Spitfires and generated quality scoring chances with an aggressive forecheck.

Much like Wednesday , the Greyhounds jumped on their opponents early.

Just 3:28 into the opening period, Josh Moes slid his second goal of the season past Spitfires goaltender Anthony Guadagnolo.

Andrew Campbell then notched his first of the year 3:24 later as the defenseman jumped into the play and found the net for a 2-0 lead. Before the period was out, Josh Godfrey whistled a shot from the point on the power play and the Hounds had a three goal cushion after 20 minutes.

In the second period, Jordan Nolan, the son of former Hounds bench boss and current New York Islanders head coach Ted Nolan, put Windsor on the board at 2:02 as he wired a shot over the shoulder of Hounds goaltender Kyle Gajewski.

Campbell then potted his second goal of the night late in the period for a 4-1 lead.

Jiri Tlusty, with a bullet shot to the top corner, and Andrew Desjardins scored for the Hounds in the third period while Cory McGillis and Bradley Snetsinger, with two, countered with goals for Windsor.

Anthony Perdicaro picked up his first OHL point with an assist on Moes' goal while Campbell, Moes and Tlusty also recorded assists.

The Hounds, who conclude a three-game homestand Saturday against the Guelph Storm at 7:30 p.m., outshot Windsor 34-24.

Tempers flared for much of the final 24 minutes of the game as five fights took place along with several scrums after the whistle.
