With rain in the area throughout the day, fans and racers waited patiently for race time to see if the weather would improve. Track officials kept in contact with the National Weather Service from Gaylord, Michigan and were assured that the rain would pass over the area before the scheduled start. Patience paid off as the skies cleared and the program was run in its entirety.

The evenings first events were the 4 Car Dashes for each class. Tony Rankin won in his 4 Cylinder, Barry Glenn in his Pure Stock, Dean Eggart in his Factory Stock, and Nick Guerriero in his Late Model.

The 4 Cylinder class ran an Australian Pursuit and Ashley Pietrangelo passed the five cars in front of her to earn the win.

Barry Glenn earned his second checkered flag of the evening in the first Pure Stock heat. He took the lead on the backstretch when Jerry Deason went wide coming out of turn two while leading dropping two tires off of the backstretch and into the dirt. Ryan Radziejewski finished second, and Ray Golladay Jr. third.

Paul Fox took the early lead in the first Factory Stock heat. Fox led nine and three quarter laps before getting passed coming to the checkered. Kris Riley chased down Fox and passed him in turn four to take the victory. Fox was second and Cecil Piche third.

The first 4 Cylinder heat saw Ashley Pietrangelo make a three wide pass through turns three and four for the lead. She checked out on the field and took her second win of the evening. Brandy Clawson finished a distant second and Reese Thompson third.

The second group of 4 Cylinders lined up to race next. Larry Miller ran a perfect race leading every lap and taking the checkered flag. Miller ran lap after lap on the bottom of the track staying just ahead of second place Tony Rankin. Eric Fountain finished third.

The second Pure Stock heat saw a bunched up field and lots of tight racing. Ray Golladay Jr. had a very fast car and moved from the back of the pack all the way to the front. He won by a large margin over second place of Ryan Radziejewski and the third place car of Barry Glenn.

The Late Models had a first lap altercation when Nick Guerriero stood on the throttle going into turn three running into the side of Tim Aho and spinning him. After a complete restart, there were several different leaders with Josh Ware leading the most important lap. Ware finished first with Rick Leonard second and Tim Aho third. Kris Riley showed how strong his car was again in the second Factory Stock heat. He battled Cecil Piche for a short time before taking the lead and pulling away from the field. Riley finished first with Piche second and Dean Eggart third.

The second Late Model heat had another early caution when Josh Ware and Matt Radar tangled in turn four hooking their cars together. Racing resumed and another caution came out when there was contact by Tim Aho into the back of the Nick Guerriero car. Rick Leonard was the eventual winner with Dennis Aho second and Josh Ware third.

A full moon was rising over turn three just as the feature races were set to begin. Tony Rankin survived a four wide first lap while taking the lead with his 4 Cylinder. Eric Fountain was trailing in second. Larry Miller made it a three car race for many laps with all the drivers in the field racing hard and clean. Eric Fountain challenged Rankin for the lead and was able to move out front and race to the checkered. Fountain finished first with Rankin second and Brandy Clawson third.

Jerry Deason ran at the front of the pack for several laps in the Pure Stock feature. He was black flagged while leading as he was spraying fluid of some sort on the cars behind him. Barry Glenn assumed the lead with Ryan Radziejewski close behind. They ran wheel to wheel for several laps while battling for the lead. Glenn held on for the victory with Radziejewski second and Dan Shumbarger third.

The Factory Stock feature had Paul Fox as the early leader. Dean Eggart made a nice move diving to the inside of Fox in turn one to take the lead. Eggart, Fox, and Cecil Piche ran nose to tail for many laps in the first three spots. With six laps to go, Kris Riley worked his way through traffic and moved into the fourth position. He moved to the outside and went by the top three like they were sitting still. He went on to a well deserved victory with Dean Eggart second and Cecil Piche third.

The final feature of the night was the Late Models. Josh Ware drove a great race starting at the back and moving all the way to the front. Ware took the checkered with Tim Aho second and Rick Leonard third.
