A few notices for female hockey players

With another season once again upon us, the Women's Hockey League has a few notices for current and new players.

*** Women's Hockey Instructional Scrimmages

Beginner and Intermediate female hockey players aged 21 and over are invited to attend 8 weekly sessions of hockey instruction beginning Saturday, September 24th.

The hourly sessions are set for 6pm and 7pm at Rankin Arena. They will include 25 minutes of skills, with instructors and 25 minutes of scrimmage. Cost is $75. Contact Sharon or Lorie at 777-0782.

*** Women's Hockey Scrimmages

Advanced female hockey players are encouraged to sign up for 6 weekly scrimmages beginning Sunday, October 9th. The hourly sessions are set for 4pm and 5pm at McMeeken Arena. Cost is $50. Contact Sharon or Lorie at 777-0782.

*** Registrations Being Accepted For Women's Hockey League

Women of all calibers aged 21 and over are invited to register for the 2005-06 WHL season which will run from November 19th to the end of March.

Games will be every Sunday at McMeeken Arena from 4pm to 9pm and Saturdays at Rankin Arena from 6pm to 8pm. Cost is $220. Contact Sharon or Lorie at 777-0782.
