************************ Male youth with knife threatens Beaver Gas Station attendant

On the 17th of December at 10:51 a.m., City Police received a call to attend at the Beaver Fuels on Trunk Road after a male youth pulled a knife on the attendant.

It is alleged that the accused attempted to purchase a package of cigarettes.

The attendant felt that he was not of age and asked him for identification, which he could not provide.

The attendant refused to sell him the cigarettes and the male became upset, began to curse at the attendant and when leaving he pulled out a knife and threatened to slit the attendant’s throat.

The male left the area walking with a female in an eastbound direction on Trunk Road.

Officers attended in the area but did not locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as being around 17 years of age, shoulder length dark hair, slim build, approximately 5’11” and was wearing a grey jacket with a white hoodie underneath, blue jeans and white runners.

The female was described as also in her teens, with long dark hair, wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

Detectives are continuing the investigation into this incident.
