Youth charged with drug possession

************************* BLIND RIVER, ON - East Algoma OPP has charged a 14-year-old male from Blind River with possession of a controlled substance.

On January 14, 2010, police observed a small group a youths engaging in suspicious behaviour at the town park on Woodward Ave in Blind River.

After speaking with the youths, a 14-year-male was found to be in possession of a small amount suspected marijuana.

He was arrested and has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

He is scheduled to appear in Blind River court on March 14, 2011.

Because of the age of the accused, his name can not be released.
