************************* Male arrested for break and enter

On Monday June 30 at approximately 1:15 a.m., City Police were called to attend at a residence in the downtown area regarding a break-and-enter in progress.

It is alleged that when police arrived, they located the accused in the building.

Andrew Swan, age 43, of 772 Wellington Street East, Apartment 202 was arrested and charged with one count of break and enter, one count of breach of probation and one count of breach of an undertaking.

At the time of this offence, the accused was on probation with conditions that he keep the peace.

The accused was also on an undertaking release with a condition that he not consume alcohol.

It is alleged that the accused had consume alcohol prior to his arrest.

He will be appearing in court on Aug 11 at 9 a.m.
