If you're interested in purchasing the wares of budding young craftspeople — or you are a budding young craftsperson yourself — read on.

After a successful first market this past winter, the Spring Algoma Kids Craft Market is coming to Echo Bay on Saturday, May 25 from noon to 5 p.m.

This special market is for kid entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their items, organizers say.

"Come out and celebrate the warmer weather and support our local kiddos as they launch and promote their very own businesses!" organizers said in a release.

Do you have a crafty young entrepreneur in your household?

You can visit a page for vendors' parents to book a table on behalf of their kids and teens, with table rentals from $30 to $40 (plus eventbrite fee).

Organizers said children under the age of 15 must have at least one parent/guardian present with them at all times for safety reasons.

Limited indoor and outdoor vendor spots were still available as of this writing for kids age 7 to 17. You can also email [email protected] about table rentals.

The market takes place at Echo Bay Hall, 237 Church St.
