************************** SAULT STE. MARIE - (January 28) - Once again, Tony Martin takes the wrong side of the issue. He does not act for the people of Sault Ste Marie but will continue to do the bidding of Jack Layton who said he’d vote against the budget even before he saw it.

At least Peter Stoffer, the NDP member from Nova Scotia, was prepared to read the document before turning it down. He will vote against the funding earmarked for Northern Ontario including funds for twinning Highway 17 and 11.

He will vote against the new money for FedNor.

He will vote against all tax reductions for Sault Ste. Marie residents.

He will continue to misrepresent government actions during the next few weeks in parliament.

We could debate Tony Martin’s tirade against the prime minister and we look forward to doing so during the next election.
