************************** Hey! My name is Liz Miron, and my friend Cheyenne Dechamplain and I wanted to have a Make Love Not War campaign.

We think that everyone should just get along.

So today we went downtown, on the boardwalk and the mall, with t-shirts on that say on the front: Free Hugs and on the back: Hug a Stranger.

We hugged probably around 30 people, but almost all were from out of town.

No one from the Soo wanted to give hugs.

A group from Hamilton said that they didn't feel welcomed in the Sault until we came along and gave them hugs.

It seemed to make some people's day.

It's weird that a simple gesture could make a difference in someone's day, yet we don't do it very often.

So our advice to everyone is Hug a Stranger!

And if you see us sometime don't be afraid to give us a hug! - Liz and Cheyenne
