Workweek Outlook: Watch out for Thursday

On Thursday as a Colorado Low kicks out of the American Midwest and heads into the Great Lakes region

There will be lots of cloudy conditions this week, along with a persistent low risk of scattered flurries and showers.  The big event arrives on Thursday as a Colorado Low kicks out of the American Midwest and heads into the Great Lakes region.  The Sault area appears to be the dividing line between rain and snow with this storm, and it's hard to tell how it'll play out.  Either way, it's a good bet that Thursday will be the best bet for active-weather this week.

Monday will be cloudy with the chance of a few flurries in the morning and then an isolated shower or two in the afternoon as temperatures climb three or four degrees above freezing.

Tuesday brings more of the same cloudy weather with a 30% chance of a flurry or shower throughout the day and temperatures a few degrees above freezing.

By the middle of the week, the risk of any precipitation ends, and we might even see some brief sunshine as daytime highs nudge closer to 5°C.  A large storm system on Thursday could bring either 10-15cm of snow, 10mm of rain or both.  Gusty winds are likely with this storm as well.

On Friday, behind the storm, we are likely to see colder temperatures as daytime highs fall to the freezing mark.
