Workweek Outlook: The warmest time of the year

From the end of this week onwards, we begin the slow decline towards colder temperatures and then winter

Decades of weather observations in Sault Ste. Marie have established that, on average, this is the warmest week of the entire year. Normal daytime highs reach their highest at 24.4°C while overnight lows typically are 11.9°C. From the end of this week onwards, we begin the slow decline towards colder temperatures and then winter.

Oddly enough, this week starts a little colder than normal, but Mother Nature kicks it into high gear by the end of the week with warmer conditions. Monday through to Wednesday could oddly bring almost the same weather each day. There is the slim chance of a shower Tuesday morning, and Wednesday might be a touch warmer, but otherwise, we should see mostly sunny skies, northwest winds and daytime highs near 21°C each day.

Mother Nature redeems herself on Thursday and Friday with warmer temperatures in the upper 20s. The next chance of widespread rain appears to be on Saturday.
