A cold front arrives in the middle of this workweek and will transition the Sault area from record-breaking heat to normal mid-fall temperatures. With this transition, we will likely see some rain, followed by some gusty winds. Later this week, we will see a change to the overall weather pattern over Ontario, which will see cooler and wetter weather conditions for the end of the month.
On Monday, we will break the record high of 21°C set in 1947 as temperatures climb to 22°C under partly cloudy skies. Tuesday will be sunny with daytime highs near 22°C again. The next best chance of light rain arrives after midnight.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers as temperatures fall to 11°C.
Thursday and Friday bring a mix of sun and clouds, with daytime highs near 13°C. Later in the day on Friday, another chance of rain arrives.
Cooler, more seasonal temperatures return for this coming weekend under mostly cloudy skies.
